Abbie has taught dobro at Nashville Dobro Camp, ResoSummit, Grand Targhee, and Rockygrass Academy. She specializes in singing while playing, songwriting, backing up a singer, and creating lyrical solos. She loves teaching beginners! As an Occupational Therapist licensed in NY/NJ, she also has experience with avoiding physical pain from playing your instrument, using a neuroscience method of learning and breaking goals down into achievable smaller goals.
