Exciting news! My latest solo CD “Hope” has been released in Japan! I’ve never been but I’m glad my music is making it’s way there. Maybe if it does well enough I’ll be able to take a little tour! If you can read Japanese, check out the release page here: BSMF Records.
This will be the summer of travel and co-writing for me. I’ve already spent some much needed down time at my Uncle’s awesome little island in Alexandria Bay and am looking forward to a fun Red Molly tour to Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming this month. Most exciting of all will surely be playing Rockygrass in Lyons, CO. This is one of my most favorite places on earth. It’s where I went to Song School and Rockygrass Academy, to work on my songwriting and Dobro chops when I first started out. I had the honor of playing 2 songs on the festival stage in 2006 for their songwriting contest (and even won 2nd place!). I can hardly wait to come back with my band and play a full set!
Writing is finding it’s way into my travels, too. So far I’ve worked on tunes with Jon Paul, Pat Wictor and Marc Douglas Berardo. My Brooklyn songwriting buddies are a real source of inspiration and support.
